Exide Identified as the Most Innovative Battery Brand

 

Russian car owners have made their opinions on batteries known. 

The Russian automotive analytical agency, Autostat, has released the results of its most recent “AUTOSTAT OMNIBUS - 2019 - Automobile Batteries: The Opinion of Car Owners” survey. According to the survey, Exide was identified as “The Most Technically Advanced and Innovative” battery brand. Also, Tudor and Exide brands are in the top six of the “Most Well-Known” battery brands. Of all respondents, 24 percent of selected the Tudor brand, and 23 percent selected the Exide brand as most well known. Bosch topped the chart as the most well known brand with 40 percent of respondents.

“The Exide brand was given high appreciation by consumers in Russia as the most technically advanced brand,” said Roman Gerasimov, General Director, Russia/Belarus. “It constitutes confirmation of conducting right, active marketing communication efforts by our Moscow team to B2B and end consumers. Good brand awareness of Tudor and Exide, reflected in the survey results, is the key for further sales growth and market share gain in Russia and CIS in the premium and mass market segments.”  

The survey included 23 battery brands. More than 2,500 Russian car owners were surveyed on 12 distinct battery criteria, including:  reliable and durable, popular, famous, innovation, modern, trustworthy, worth their money, and others.

In other survey categories, the Dominator and Moratti brands were identified as “Fashionable and Modern.” The Kursk battery brand is the leader in the “Most Affordable” category. Respondents mentioned Tyumen Battery brand and AKOM as “Batteries That Are Worth Their Money,” by having an optimal quality-to-price ratio.
