The 33-year-old from Oxted, Surrey, is one of the UK’s leading talents in jet-ski racing, having just narrowly missed out on last season’s championship. Packham started the season with a third-place finish, then won the next three rounds in succession. Despite a breakdown in the fifth round in Preston, he recovered to secure a hard-earned second place.
